Summer Ice Cream Socials
Ice Cream Socials are also scheduled to return to Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates on Second Saturdays from May through October. Each month Ginger re-imagines the ice cream sundae as a wonderful frozen dessert with a seasonal twist. Ice Cream Sundaes are $8 and will be available while supplies last on the following Saturdays:
Saturday, May 12
Chocolate Chile Semi-Freddo, Lemon Ice Cream, warm Mini Churros, flooded with Dark Drinking Chocolate and topped with a dollop of Triple Cream
Saturday, June 9
Real Butter Pecan Ice Cream, Cafe au Lait Sherbet, warm Beignet, Salty Dragéed Pecans, Bourbon Crème Anglaise, topped with Chantilly Cream
Saturday, July 14
Basil Ice Cream, Blueberry Sorbet, warm Blueberry Compote, Pavlova Meringue, atop House-Made Graham Cracker Crust, topped with Chantilly Cream
Saturday, August 11
Warm Olallieberry Cobbler spooned over Sweet Cream Frozen Custard topped with Chantilly Cream. Featuring organic Olallieberries hand-picked in the Sierra Nevada Foothills by Ginger and Tom.
Saturday, September 8
Saffron Ice Cream, Macerated Farm Peaches and Whipped Raspberry Custard layered between a Cream Puff and dusted with Powdered Sugar.
Saturday, October, 13
Pumpkin Ice Cream, Brown Butter Ice Cream, Warm Monkey Bread Pieces, Sticky Raisin Sauce, topped with Crème Fraîche
Note: We use organic milk and local dairy, as well as organic local fruit for all of our ice cream sundaes.
