Ginger named a Top Ten Chocolatier of 2010 //12.16.2010

Ginger Elizabeth Hahn was recently chosen as a Top Ten Chocolatier by Dessert Professional, the magazine for the pastry and baking professional.

Dessert Professional is proud to announce our second annual Top Ten Chocolatiers in North America awards. The fine chocolate industry continues to grow despite the stagnant economy, and the quality of bonbons and other finished chocolates available in North America is now comparable to those found in Europe. The selection of the Top Ten Chocolatiers honors North American-based chocolatiers whose craft is distinctive and has elevated the chocolate industry. This year’s list includes chocolate artists with diverse backgrounds. Some were pastry chefs, while others started out working with chocolate. Some are self-taught, while others have been classically trained. One thing they all have in common, though, is that all ten of these chocolatiers are entrepreneurs. And, of course they all love chocolate, their chosen outlet for expression.
