Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates

Shipping Information
We designed our shipping policy to ensure that the chocolates you order arrive at their destination in the best possible condition. We use insulated packages and frozen gel packs during warm weather to prevent the chocolates from melting.
  • During warmer months and anytime the temperature at the shipping destination is over 70 degrees, we only ship Next Day Air. During cooler months, we can ship 2nd Day Air. During cooler months, and within California only, we can also ship Ground. We do not allow more than 2 days of transit time for any shipment. Please note that if you choose a shipping option that does not comply with our shipping guidelines we will contact you to change your shipping choice, and we will not process your order until you have approved the shipping change (including any additional charges).

  • We ship Next Day Air packages Monday – Thursday. We ship 2nd Day Air and Ground packages Monday – Wednesday. We do not ship packages over the weekend. Orders are processed in the order in which they are received and will generally ship on the next available shipping date after being placed. However, orders may take longer than one day to process and ship, especially during the holiday seasons.

  • We ship all packages Signature Required which means that someone must be available to sign for the package at the time of delivery. If someone is not available to sign for the package, the chocolates may not be able to last another day on the delivery vehicle, and we will no longer be responsible for the condition of the shipment. It is always best to ship to a workplace or office where someone will be available to sign. If you must ship to a residential address, it is recommended that you let the recipient know so that they will be available to sign.

  • All orders require a street address and phone number. We are not able to ship to P.O. Boxes or outside the United States. Additional charges may apply to orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii.

  • We are not responsible for incorrect or undeliverable addresses and/or recipients. We are not responsible if a package is delayed by the shipping company and does not arrive by its designated date. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, mechanical failure or other acts beyond our control.

  • We realize that shipping chocolate can require a lot of packaging, especially during warm weather. We do our best to use recyclable and earth-friendly materials when shipping our products. We use cornstarch packaging peanuts and insulated sleeves instead of Styrofoam products. We also try our best to source packaging materials (including product packaging) made in the United States.
