Shipping Policies

Our shipping policy is designed to ensure that the products you order arrive at their destination in the best possible condition.

Warm Weather Shipping

In General, due to the perishable nature of our products we ship with an option of 2nd Day Air or faster to destinations outside of California, Oregon and Nevada during the warm weather months. Shipping rates are based on weight and size as calculated by UPS. Items ship in insulated packaging with additional ice packs included.

Shipping Schedule

WE DO NOT SHIP SAME DAY. Orders placed by 5:00pm Sunday – Thursday** will ship the following day*.  Orders placed Friday & Saturday will ship Monday**. Please note we do not hold orders for shipping at a later date. 

*2nd Day Air Orders placed on Wednesday - Sunday will not ship until Monday**.

*Overnight Orders placed on Thursday - Sunday will not ship until Monday**.

**We do not ship on the following Holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve & New Years Day.

Shipping Guidelines

  • California, Oregon and Nevada ship UPS ground all year.
  • Florida, Alaska and Hawaii ships 2nd day all year.
  • Next Day Air is available for all shipments within the continental US.
  • 2 Day and Next Day Shipping Rates are based on weight and size as calculated by UPS.

Delivery companies often leave packages shipped to a residential address outside and exposed to the heat. GEC is unable to provide a refund for melted product shipped to a residential address.

Please verify the accuracy of the shipping address and make sure the recipient will be available to receive the shipment before placing an order. GEC is unable to provide a refund for melted product if your package is undeliverable on the first attempt to the address provided.

All orders require a street address and phone number. We are not able to ship to PO Boxes or outside of the United States.


We are not responsible for the following:

  • Errors on the part of the shipping company.
  • Damage to the shipment, including melting, once the delivery company takes possession of the packages.
  • Incorrect or undeliverable addresses and/or recipients.
  • Shipments which are undeliverable on the first attempt by the shipping company.
  • Deliveries made to unoccupied addresses which are left outside at the discretion of the delivery driver.
  • Delays caused by weather, mechanical failure or other acts beyond our control.

We will not pay for re-shipping costs due to any of the instances mentioned above.
