For this year’s Advent calendar, Ginger brought ingredients from 24 California farms, urban gardens, and makers into our Sacramento chocolate kitchen. Think rice from Black Fox Brand, Meyer lemons from Good Humus Produce, almond butter from Alison’s Organics, and herbs grown at William Brooks Elementary School Garden. Each day brings a new chocolate inspired by the people and places behind those ingredients.
The deep green gift box opens to 24 numbered drawers. Open one each day from December 1 through 24. There’s a chocolate to share, though we understand if you keep both.
Inside: 48 handcrafted chocolates, two for each day of the countdown.
An early preorder gift: The first 100 Advent calendar orders receive a complimentary 100 g box of Peppermint Bark. Limit one box per order, included when your calendar ships or is ready for pickup.
Shipping and pickup: Calendars begin shipping Monday, November 16. For local pickup, select an available date between November 17 and 29 at our Midtown Sacramento or Folsom shop. Other in-stock items in a shipped preorder will ship separately on their usual schedule.
